Working across a long sweep of projects, large and small, Intermain has the infrastructure to work on large commercial and industrial contracts, with the custom joinery division’s experience covering both one off designs and whole office fit outs. Intermain is a group of highly competent and suited professionals with experience that meets all facets of a project’s requirements.

Within the 980 square meres, the design and construct project includes meeting spaces, originate plan work areas, a boardroom, kitchen and lunch room, conference room and individual offices. Designed by Patrick Caroscio of Design Think, the interior was completed by the Intermain team and involved the stuffed coordination of services along with intricate interior works including reception, offices, production room, boardroom, kitchen and tasting area. With training and accreditation in carpentry, joinery, project management, building and construction, Jason joined Intermain in 2002 as a trades person before gaining experience across the whole business from site supervisor to project manager and senior project manager. Now the group’s Construction Manager focusing on Sydney projects, he oversees all departments including the project management team, the designers, estimators, and joinery workshop. They were involved in all stages of the fit out from design to joinery to project management. All the project joinery items were completed in house at Intermain’s new joinery workshop, including all details, design and manufacturing. Design and planning involved an open labor space approach with interior flexibility for privacy involving operable curtains installed in some offices and the boardroom. The design program also involved the construction of a series of more private structures to house the group’s offices, meeting rooms and bathrooms. The new interiors include unfold plan work spaces, private offices, a board room, meeting rooms and a kitchen, and a fresh fit out for the lift lobby area. Active alongside numerous other office fit outs needed convenient project management by the Intermain team which ensured that the project was completed on time. The Intermain design and build team completed two floors and 1,200 square meres of fresh offices for the team at Jasco Eckersley’s in Sydney that responds to a design brief focused on work culture and a rethink into the way the company worked. Designed and constructed by the Intermain team, the project covers three levels and involved a entire rethink in terms of how the Seafolly team worked. Unfold plan collaborative work spaces, little and private meeting rooms, multifunctional desks with bespoke storage units, a important showing area that can also be closed off into more intimate work spaces, a machinists rooms for prototyping, and a shared kitchen, breakout and rooftop deck for the team to get together over lunch were central to the design brief.
