The IPA has a passion for insignificant business. More than 75 per cent of our members are either servicing insignificant business or are trivial businesses in their own right. We constantly resist ourselves to ensure we are delivering the superior service conceivable to our members while maintaining our trivial business focus. For every small business to have one of our members by their side. Advocating for the trivial business and ME sectors is at the core of what we do. Advocating on behalf of members is an ongoing activity for the IPA and we have a seat at more than 120 forums with key political, regulatory and industry stakeholders across Australia and overseas. The IPA represents over 35,00 competent accountants throughout Australia and overseas, and is a member of the Joint Accounting Bodies, which is an entity that brings together the Presidents and CEO of the CPA, CAANZ and IPA to consider matters of interest to the profession as a whole. The IPA is a member of the International Federation of Accountants and is a strong contributor to the development of the accounting profession in Australia and the broader region, including representation on abundant Australian Government and bilateral committees and councils.
