Salerno gallery endeavours to be a nationally recognised commercial gallery space by hosting exciting and progressive contemporary art pieces from emerging and established artists working in all mediums. Salerno gallery is an ever-changing contemporary art gallery and exhibition/hire space, operating in the bustling inner-sydney suburb of glebe. We support and encourage all artists to ensure they have the opportunity to exhibit their work publicly, gain wider exposure and to generate sales and commissions to sustain their art practise.

In 2014 G.P.R was launched as a dedicated project space aimed emerging artists and groups looking to explore fresh themes and ideas through their artistic practice. More recently Salerno Gallery has announced it will be transitioning to a fresh space with further details scheduled for release late 2015. Salerno Gallery is dedicated to hosting exciting and progressive contemporary art exhibitions by emerging and established artists both local and international, occupied in all mediums ranging from paint, illustration and sculpture to installation and video work. It is the intention of Salerno Gallery to showcase a range of quality labor from artists which we believe contribute to the tapestry of cultural discourse, in addition to providing a platform for ingenious and clever curatorial voices. Whether the labor is of a professional, commercial or experimental and site specific nature, we urge and encourage all artists to ensure they have the opportunity to exhibit their work publicly, gain wider exposure and generate sales to sustain and magnify their art practice. To encourage emerging and established artists, by offering them a platform from which to thrive their practice and benefit wider exposure. To bear a platform and assistance for original and creative curatorial voices. To provide a supple exhibition space which is a vibrant environment for ingenious practice and dialogue. To encourage a diverse array of labor and flourish new audiences for contemporary arts. To be an integral part of the artistic community locally and nationally, making connections with artists and ingenious groups across the world. In its previous space in, Salerno Gallery offered artists a prime street frontage exhibition space in the ever vibrant inner city suburb of plebe, with a bright airy atmosphere and 24 hour exposure to plebe Point Road, it provides a versatile space for artists and curators working with any temperate of art for solo and group shows. Announcement of a new space is scheduled for slow 2015. Behind more than five amazing years in plebe it is with mixed emotions that we announce Salerno Gallery will be moving to a fresh space.
