The Not Shop is a family run business, established in 1939 by Karl Mendel, father and grandfather to the give owners. The ingenious shop in The Strand Arcade is tranquil unfold for business, and a popular terminate for tourists and locals identical to buy our famous Vienna Almonds and Chocolate Macadamias. Eventually the beginning factory was built in nearby Curry Hills to manufacture the growing range of nut and chocolate products. As the factory soon reached its capacity for both production and storage, there became an important need to find bigger premises in the vicinity of our City shops and the airport, for ease of delivery. We moved into our offer purpose built factory in Waterloo in 1995. The Not Shop remains committed to manufacturing products to the highest standards and to providing a expansive range of products with service to match. All chocolates are manufactured locally in the factory in Sydney's Waterloo. All products are manufactured using family traditional methods handed down since 1939 to accomplish the freshest conceivable taste and texture. The Not Shop only uses pure chocolate (not compound) and all our nuts are the largest and best quality available. The Not Shop manufactures a expansive range of nuts salted and roasted (in pure hi oleic unsaturated sunflower oil), parched roasted (almonds, chocolate and candied, as well as a full range of chocolates (fruit centers, nut clusters, creams and many others).
