It has seen the development of a bustling metropolis and the formation of this marvelous city’s atmosphere. We cater for travelers and backpackers who are looking for quality accommodation on a budget. After the heritage facade hide extensive renovations and modern facilities. Our newly renovated communal bathrooms donate orderly and private amenities for our guests. Whether you are looking for a bed in a basic dorm or a private room with all the mod cons (modern conveniences) we have something for you. There is a large guest kitchen stocked with utensils and tableware for your convenience. We also have an undercover (heated during winter) courtyard and balcony where you can enjoy your meal or a chat with friends. We are situated only five minutes' walk from Sydney's Central Station. When bookings are made directly through the hostel, we require a nonrefundable store of 10 paid via credit card, as per all standard online booking systems. Joadja is of national heritage significance, and offers a window to the former and the early years of Australia’s mining boom. Our whisk distillery is soon to commence production, continuing on with the tradition initiated by the Scottish miners all those decades ago. We will be distilling our brew onside and expect to have our beginning batch available for sale by the end of 2015. Please note that we are only able to depart a key out if the booking has been paid for in advance. We need written notification of your cancellation postponement in order to process it.
