Step 1: Find a DJ. Once a payment has been made, the booking is confirmed and active and the DJ is expected to attend the event. Once you have received a confirmation email saying that the event has been accepted by the DJ, you will then be asked to make a 35% deposit payment online using PayPal – You will have 48 hours to make this online payment, before the event is canceled. The DJ will respond to this email within 48 hours. This will send an email request to the DJ with all your event details. Once this has been done, there will be an event page created for the event, which will be accessible from the Users main account page. Once you have logged in, you will then be asked to enter the event details, after doing that click the “Send Booking Request” button. To proceed to make the booking you must have an account with Book Your DJ. If you do not have account, you can make one instantly. After clicking search, a message is displayed saying that the DJ is or is not available at this time. Please ensure that the booking is made at least 96 hours before the event!. Step 3: Book a DJ Once you have clicked on the Book DJ tab, put the start and end times of the event to confirm that the DJ is available on these times. If a DJ seems to meet your criteria, and you would like to find out more about them, you can view their profile by clicking “View Profile.” > From the DJs profile, you can send the DJ a message or you can book the DJ by clicking on the “Book DJ” tab. An hourly rate is set for an event, which lasts between 0-3 hours, between 3-6 hours and 6-8 hours. There are different hourly rates for different events. From the list of DJs, you can see the rates, which meet your criteria, which they charge for different events. Step 2: Choose a DJ. After submitting your search criteria, which meets your criteria, a list of DJs, will be displayed. Use our easy search function to find a DJ who services your area and who is available on your event time. The remaining 65% of the booking cost will be sorted out between the DJ and the customer outside of Book Your DJ.
