City Recital Hall Limited was established as a notforprofit company in 2015 to produce, promote, offer and facilitate a vibrant, enterprising, different and inclusive program of concerts and events each year. It was the beginning purpose built music venue to be established in Sydney since the Sydney Opera House in 1973. Affectionately obvious as Angel Place’, our stunning venue is located between Pitt and George streets within the network of revitalized lane ways just off Martin Place. The establishment of City Recital Hall followed extensive lobbying by Sydney’s arts community, especially its fine music and chamber music ensembles, for a customized central city recital space. The concert presenters who were involved in the establishment of the Hall have been primary users of the venue since its inception. Tim founded his public relations company Cox In all Communications in 1975, an award winning company working with some of Australia’s largest companies and with state and federal governments. Helen served in chief executive roles in the MSW Public Service, then established an self-reliant consulting practice specializing in workplace management. In 1998 Helen was invited to membership of Chief Executive Women Inc, and in 200 was appointed a National Fellow of the Institute of Public istration Australia in recognition of her extraordinary contribution to public administration. In that role she led the development of the Roslyn Packer theater, active closely with the Artistic Directors to program the company’s diverse theater seasons, including developing and realizing national and international co productions and touring opportunities. She has served on various Boards of a number of charities and public organizations and has advised on legal and governance issues. Kerri’s vision for 505 has been to present professional theater and music performers a space to present fresh labor to a supportive and industry based audience. This is a critical fore line position delivering a high level of service for venue clients and patrons. We are currently seeking a Concert and Event Manager to unite the team at City Recital Hall. The role communicates directly with presenters, artists, firers and corporate clients to yield a lofty slick of concert and event management for events held at City Recital Hall. Active individually and collaboratively within the Concert and Events team, and in partnership with the broader City Recital Hall department managers, the Concert and Event Manager harnesses their event management skills to ensure comprehensive planning, coordination and smooth delivery of events. The role requires a proactive hand son approach, powerful customer service ethic, flexibility, and lofty level communication skills. The triumphant candidate will possess demonstrated experience in arts management, event management ardor hospitality, and excellent customer service, communication, organizational and problem solving skills. A world class concert and event venue, City Recital Hall is a pretty and acoustically ideal environment for classical and contemporary music performances, spoken word and many types of presentations and ceremonies.
