It is the responsibility of the consignee and or notify party to ensure the vacant container is returned to the Cisco nominated depot on the delivery order. It is not the responsibility of coco SHIPPING to advise the consignee or notify party of any container that has not been returned. An invoice for the Container Detention Charges incurred will be raised behind the return of the vacant container(s). It is crucial to note that coco require their containers to be returned within the specified release time period. For shipments where the Consignee is not a registered Company, a bond fee of 500.00 is payable prior to issuance of the Delivery Order. The bond fee will be refunded in stuffed upon the return of the empty container in good tidy condition and within the specified release time period. Export Detention is charged behind the expiry of the standard free time period, which is: OT FR) : Ten (10) calendar free days from the beginning day the unoccupied container is released to the shipper or nominated carrier. Listed lower are the Export Detention charges that will be applied per calendar day: An invoice for Container Detention Charges incurred will be raised after the return of the full export containers to terminal or empty containers to a Cisco depot. The User agrees to pay applicable storage charges to the terminal operator at whose terminal the Equipment, the subject of this Delivery Order is stored beyond the release storage period as notified and at the rates levied by the terminal operator in accordance with the published schedule, copies of which are available upon request from that operator. Goods means the entire or any portion of the cargo received from the Merchant and includes any Container not supplied by or on behalf of the Carrier. Shipping Unit means any physical unit of cargo not shipped in a package, including machinery, vehicles and boats, except goods shipped in bulk. The Carrier shall be responsible for the Goods as Carrier from the time when the Goods are received by the Carrier at the Port of Loading until the time of delivery thereof at the port of release to the Merchant or to the Authority as needed by local laws or regulations, whichever occurs earlier. The Carrier undertakes to arrange or procure the precarriage ardor on carriage segments of the combined transport. (2) The Carrier, its servants, agents and Subcontractors shall be discharged from all liabilities whatsoever unless suit is brought within one year after the delivery of the Goods or the date when the Goods should have been delivered.
