The Four in Hand has been and always will be an institution for Paddington local’s and Sydney food enthusiasts alike. Taking a leaf from heritage, The Four in Hand is proudly going back to its roots with a focus on the finest, meat, seafood and wine in the dining room and classic pub cuisine, beer and sport in the bar. The Grill at The Four (as the restaurant will now be known) has done away with the formality of the previous offering and replaced it with a heartier, more yield ambitious menu that is stuffed with flavor once cooked on the fresh grill. The fresh restrict menu heroes classic pub comfort food such as the Four in Hands Suckling Pig Sanger (honey ham, claws, pickles, chili mayo on a milk bun), smoked chicken wings with chipotle, chili beef nachos with Rico de Gallo and manchego, and grain rump with smoked butter and fries. Head Chef John Collins has created an unadulterated opportunity to indulge in some of the superior meat and seafood available, at The Grill at The Four. In a change that’s reflective of Sydney’s evolving dining habits, The Grill at The Four now offers a heartier, more produce ambitious menu, that is only enhanced when cooked on the new charcoal grill. Chef Johnny has been occupied with the greater Four in Hand team on developing a really exciting dining (and drinking) experience with nearly the total menu cooked on The Grill. Michael, or Mickey as you may come to know him is a Scot who is deranged about all things' Whiskey and sport, making him the flawless publican to lead the reigns at the fresh and improved Four. Coming armed with over 10 years management experience in the Hospitality industry, Mickey is filled to the brim with passion for food, drink and service.
