Ted Merlot and his French wife Emma established this business in 1940. Ted was an English Pharmacist and a preceding employee of Helena Rubinstein. For the after 30 years the Merloos produced and retailed perfumes and skin concern products from their chemist shop in Nairobi, Kenya. My daughter Katherine, Jeff jackal and myself are enjoying our new venture and we are looking forward to continuing the companies traditions of manufacturing pleasing fragrances. All of our fragrances are oil based and a re made here in Australia using the best French essences to Esau Be Parfum strength before being matured. Using only the best ingredients sourced from the South of France our fragrances are oil based, Beau de par fum strength and matured to end 67 hours. Our perfume cologne range has been inspired by the top fragrance houses of the world. We have not copied their fragrances, but created our own fragrance using some of the notes and ingredients from these well known houses. In 2010 we re branded Melbourne Perfume Company to strengthen our brand and drive our company into the future.
