R&M are a growing company, teaching Latin social dances of Cuban Salsa and Bachata. They are committed to providing education and authenticity to each of these cultural dances to their customers, not only teaching the “moves” but the history, passion and musical understanding behind ‘steps’.
Rhi and Mario, are extremely proud of their unique and fun teaching methods, and their structured courses are setting the company apart in the Latin social dancing scene, introducing many new dancers into the scene to stay. We believe in creating a safe and supportive place for all backgrounds and age groups to connect and join our dance family. R&M Latin Dance events are gathering renown for their vibrant and fresh atmosphere with live Cuban band.
This award means so much to us, as a highlight of our career – it means that all of our passion, hard work and dedication that we put into our students and into our art form is being recognised! We have to thank our beautiful students for all their support over the years.

R&M is comprised of just two Salsa and Bachata dance Teachers, Mariano De Simone (Italian) who moved to Cardiff to start his dance company dream in 2015, and later joined his dance partner Rhian Saunders (Australian/Welsh) in 2018. Together they own and run their dance school in Cardiff, UK and relocated to Sydney Australia, including group and private Salsa and Bachata dance classes, dance performance, student showcases. Their mission is to continue to spread the joy of dance, and encourage and show new people to dance who always dreamed to, that they can!
