St Vincent's Clinic opened in 1990 as a joint commitment between the Sisters of Charity and a number of specialists. The Clinic is now a center of Excellence, providing a comprehensive range of tolerant services. More than 200 doctors and allied health professionals bear concern for patients at the Clinic. Our primary aim is to provide excellence in tolerant concern that includes respect for personal dignity. The Clinic is one of 34 facilities of St Vincent’s Health Australia and we succeed the Sisters of Charity heritage of Christ's healing mission by providing the maximum standards of tolerant care. The emphasis on excellence in medical protection is strengthened by our commitment to research and education. We bring God’s love to those in need through the healing ministry of Jesus.

The value of the latest developments on treatment and procedures can only be tested by clinical practitioners and based on their detailed outcome studies of actual tolerant care. However, although government and other research organizations provide financial support for basic laboratory work for fulltime investigators, there is little funding available for clinical studies conducted on the course of patient care. Yet it is this evaluation on which all fresh treatment moralities lie. Over the years, the Bottom has taken advantage of opportunities to widen its funding scope for research.
With over 300 specialists, access to a range of diagnostic services and day procedures, St Vincent’s Clinic provides comprehensive medical services. Additionally, St Vincent’s Clinic is committed to funding research to underpin clinical protection as well as providing community services via Sisters of Charity Outreach. St Vincent’s Clinic is a multidisciplinary Clinic of excellence, providing a comprehensive range of investigative, diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients referred for health care. Our research foundation, St Vincent’s Clinic Foundation, supports quality evidence based research and education to underpin clinical excellence. St Vincent's Clinic Bottom produces a range of publications. St Vincent’s Clinic Base provides funding and urge for research with a focus on improving clinical care.
