Our internship program has been developed to nurture the superior of fresh talent in Australia, and to bear a unique insight into how professional music recordings are made. As a studio 301 interns, you will be gaining experience directly with our Studio Runners, taking part in: Session setup, including amps, drums, mics, other equipment and patching. Servicing our clients with tea, coffee, meals and other requests. Basic equipment repairs and maintenance. We are looking for Australia’s next generation of the superior producers and engineers. These individuals will have a devotion to music and music production, be keen to learn, happy to help, have a vast attitude and be thirsty to be piece of a studio community. You must have a ravenous interest in audio engineering and music production. You must have some earlier experience formal qualifications, complimentary professional experience, or a body of work after you. As Australia’s largest audio facilities, Studios 301 has the capacity and experience to digitize Oral History collections of all sizes. We are a member of the International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives and as such, our processes and equipment comply with the IASATC04 guidelines. Our track record includes digitization projects ranging from home interviews on cassette and micro cassette, journalist’s notes on DAT, 1950’s field recordings on reeltoreel tape and esoteric recordings across many vinyl formats.
