We are a local family operated business and your Chief Flying Instructor is Chris Boyle one of the maximum qualified, experienced and respected in the country. Our caring team of 5 Instructors is highly qualified with 100years combined experience, offering you safe, personal instruction and an exhilarating, memorable flying experience. We are proud to be the longest established and maximum popular flight center in Sydney and look forward to taking you hang gliding. This is where the local water skiers towed up flat kites behind speed boats and as rudimentary as this was, it was the beginning of the sport of Hang Gliding. But it wasn’t until 1975 some ten years later on a visit to Cairns in North Queensland that Chris saw a hang glider takeoff from a hill for the first time. Upon returning to Alice Springs, Chris commenced teaching himself to fly and from that moment on, he was hooked. Trevor lean to fly hang gliders in 1986, he loves his models and is a current member of Charles Kings ford Smith Model club and been an energetic model geek since the mid 70s! Bret has been flying since the year dot and enjoys sharing his enthusiasm of the sport with others. Bret also flies radio controlled models and loves to fly the lower hills and is a master of soaring the sand dunes. Chris is the young bloke that keeps us on our toes. A local lad who impartial loves anything that fays and also fays radio controlled. And like all of us impartial enjoys sharing the experience of our amazing sport with others. Ryan and Chris are our solid busy ground crew and contribute to the slick operation of our flying days. Both Ryan and Chris grew up in this spectacular area and are able to share the local knowledge with you. When Chris is not helping us run our business efficiently, he is running the quickest time of a given distance be it on the road, track or beach.
