Playing hockey with The friars provides the opportunity to learn and appreciate a swift and useful sport. We currently enjoy men’s team across a range of grades with 8 teams in the FHA competition including a team in the Sydney Premier League Competition and the Sydney Cup Division. We also have numerous teams in the Sydney Masters Competition. We also have a very potent women’s contingent as well with 5 teams in the SWHL competition including our 1st grade team in the ML1 competition. Our Juniors have been consistently successful with premierships galore over the final 5 years. friars has recently been relocated across the road to their new top class facility. The friars cater for players of any smooth of ability or aptitude level and all players are welcome as we have everything from competition grades to social grades.
