In recognition of his years of service Gordon was elected as an Honorary Life member of the Club in 2003. John was an Overseas Member of The Rugby Club, and such was his admiration of the Club, he eternal visited it when in Sydney and donated some of his Rugby memorabilia for display. Both the Board and Lisa are excited by the developmental opportunities which Lisa’s recruitment to this position will bring to the Club as it pursues its fresh strategic vision of Sharing the Spirit of the Game. Having regard to Lisa’s personal and professional attributes the Board of The Rugby Club is confident that she is the person who can and will successfully fulfill this most imperative role with the Club as it progresses its strategies for the earnings of the Club, its Members and Rugby in general.
